Every apartment has its own peculiar features, such as the elegant 2nd floor, with wooden beams and marble decorations, and the attic on the 4th floor, originally an artist’s studio with a spacious terrace over which all the rooms look.

Located close to both Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station, the Ai Carmini Residence is in the district of Dorsoduro, along the Fondamenta del Soccorso. This street runs along a canal and derives its name from the hospice and school founded at the end of the 16th century by the Venetian poetess Veronica Franco.
The Ai Carmini Residence is between Palazzo Zenobio (Armenian College) and an ancient building belonging to the Moro family (number 2615) and known as ‘Othello’s house’ as it is where Shakespeare set his famous tragedy.
In the immediate surroundings lie the church of the Carmini (Lorenzo Lotto, Cima from Conegliano), the School of the Carmini (Giovanni Battista Tiepolo) and the churches of Angel Raphael (Francesco Guardi) and S. Sebastian (Paolo Veronese). Just a few steps from S. Sebastian church is the charming walk along the Fondamenta delle Zattere, on the Giudecca canal. A few minutes walk away is Ca’ Rezzonico, the museum of the Venetian 18th century, and the galleries of the Accademia.

By Car:
- Go through the tollgate (on the A4 or A27 motorway) and follow the signs to Venice.
- Once you’ve left the mainland, you can park your car in one of the garages on Tronchetto Island; either at the end of Ponte della Libertà on your right, or in one of the garages in Piazzale Roma.
- You can also park in Mestre, in front of the train station, and then reach Venice by train (see Venice train station) or by bus number 2 (see Piazzale Roma). All parking areas are with fee.

Take ferry boat number 82 up to the San Basilio stop, and walk on to apartment- Ai Carmini (5 minutes).
From Piazzale Roma:
You can reach apartment- Ai Carmini by taking a 10 minute walk) or ferry boat number 82 up to the San Basilio stop. Then walk on to your destination (5 minutes).
By Train:
From Santa Lucia train station:

By Plane:
From Marco Polo airport:
Take ATVO shuttle bus or ACTV bus number 5 to Venice up to the Piazzale Roma bus terminal (13 km), then go on to apartment- Ai Carmini. You can also moor directly at the with a private taxi boat.
By Plane:
From Treviso airport San Giuseppe:
Take ATVO-Ryanair bus to Venice up to the Piazzale Roma bus terminal (38 km), then go on to the hotel.
By Boat:
From the seaport station of San Basilio:
You can reach apartment- Ai Carmini on foot.

Please contact the Ai Carmini Residence in advance if your arrival time is outside the hotel's usual check-in hours. Please leave a mobile phone number for the Ai Carmini Residence to use if there is any problem. The Ai Carmini Residence cannot guarantee a reception service after 14:00.
An additional cost of EUR 20 will be charged to arrivals between 14:00 and 20:00. After 20:00 the additional cost will increase to EUR 30.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
