Family-run Hotel Fontana is a restored 18th-century Venetian house which enjoys a central location inVenice, just behind San Zaccaria square and a few blocks from Saint Mark’s square.
In a uiet area just off the waterfront, this hotel is perfect for getting to know this unique city. Watebuses stop just outside the hotel and much of the city is just walking distance away, including Rialo and its busy markets, which are a 10 minute stroll away. Saint Mark’s square, with its spectaculr cathedral is even closer, just 5 minutes away, as is the Bridge of Sighs.
Comfortablerooms overlook the characteristic squares below and some have a private terrace with views of gothic an Zaccaria church, which is just next door. Well-run, with friendly staff and an emphasis on servce and hospitality, this hotel is a great solution for an unforgettable stay in Venice.
