The NHOW is located in Zona Tortona, a district of Milan currently undergoing a complete reinvention, a space in full evolution with showrooms, workshops and creative studios. The regeneration project follows the interior design work of Daniele Beretta and Matteo Thun, who were set the task of restoring and reclassifying the old General Electric factory, one of the largest buildings in the area.
