Residence Michelangiolo is a new structure that welcomes you into a villa dating back to 1917, totally renovated with exquisite detail maintaining the elegance and charm of long ago. Surrounded by a lovely landscaped garden only minutes away from the historical center where one can visit important monuments like the Florence Dome, Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio. This Residence offers you unique lodging, far from your ordinary Residence Michelangiolo stay in Italy.
It is also ideal for those who are invited to a wedding and need a charming place to spend the night in.

The Superior rooms have a kitchenette with mini bar and fridge and all cooking facilities. The breakfast basket includes (at no cost for the guest): an assortment of cookies, biscuits, freshly packaged toasts and pastries marmalade, Nutella chocolate spread, Italian coffee, instant coffee, tea, milk, mineral water and fruit juices.
The Standard rooms have only a minibar-fridge.
Room-cleaning is done every two days.
Fresh linen and towels (on arrival and midstay) are included in the price.

The Residence Michelangiolo - situated in one of the most exclusive and peaceful areas in Florence, along Viale Michelangiolo, the avenue that runs from Piazza Ferrucci on the river bank to Piazzale Michelangelo – is within walking distance from the historical center of Florence and from monuments like Ponte Vecchio, the church of Santa Croce and the Uffizi Gallery.
The Residence Michelangiolo is also at a short walking distance from Piazza Ferrucci where guests can catch taxi or bus lines 23a/b/c and D to the center and to the station.

Exiting the main entrance, bus lines 23a/b/c all take you within 100 meters of Residence Michelangiolo, stopping in Piazza Ferrucci.
Attention!! Make sure to purchase your bus ticket first inside the station at the newspaper or tabacco stand.

· Going in the direction of 'Firenze', follow the indications for "Centro - Viali Circonvallazione".
· After getting on the viali (boulevards), follow indications for Fortezza da Basso- Viale Antonio Gramsci-Piazza Beccaria- Viale Giovine Italia.
· Arriving at the Tower in Piazza Piave, take a left on Lungarno Pecori Girali.
· Turn right on Ponte (bridge) San Niccolò, go around the turnabout, and enter onto Viale Michelangiolo.
· Follow down Viale Michelangiolo until you get to the traffic light. Pass the traffic light and go approximately 70 meters until you see the gate of Residence Michelangiolo on your left at # 21.
Coming from Siena (Motorway)... from the North
(Milano-Bologna-Venezia on the A1 motorway, Exit at Firenze Nord Certosa)
· Go in the direction of Firenze, passing through the town fraction of Galluzzo, and follow along on Via Senese.
· Keeping to the right you will arrive on Viale Torricelli towards Piazzale Galileo. Turn right on Viale Galileo Galilei.
· When you get to Piazzale Michelangiolo, follow down Viale Michelahgiolo for about 1 and a half kilometers and before you get to the traffic light, on your right, you will see the entrance gate of Residence Michelangiolo at #21
Coming from the South
(Roma on Motorway A1, exit at uscita Firenze Sud)
· Exit the motorway at Firenze Sud toll booth, and go straight on until you reach the traffic light.
· Turn left on to Via Enrico De Nicola, and go straight along on the lungarni (river bank) until you reach Ponte(bridge) San Niccolò.
· At the traffice light, turn right and follow past the army barricks that you will see on your left.
· At the next traffic light turn left and then left again on to Viale Giovine Italia.
· Stay to the left and get on to Lungarno Pecori Girladi driving until you get to Ponte San Niccolò.
· Turn right on Ponte (bridge) San Niccolò, go around the turnabout, and enter onto Viale Michelangiolo.
· Follow down Viale Michelangiolo until you get to the traffic light. Pass the traffic light and go approximately 70 meters until you see the gate of Residence Michelangiolo on your left at # 21.
