Hotel Washington Washington, formerly a large family house built at the beginning of the 20th century, is now a full of character, warm and friendly family hotel, located in the quiet but central Museums area.

Hotel Washington Washington is set near Museum square, the biggest square in Amsterdam, surrounded by important museums such as the Rijksmuseum, which is the country’s national art museum, and the Van Gogh Museum, dedicated to the famous Dutch artist, not forgetting the royal Concertgebouw, the concert building. The square was reconstructed in 1999 and in winter it hosts an artificial ice-skating area.
The young, trendy and multicultural neighborhood called De Pijp is also at five minutes from the hotel; here it is possible to visit the picturesque Albertcuyp market and the Heineken museum, and there is plenty of nice, original shops, cafes and ethnic restaurants for all tastes.

By Plane:
There is a shuttle service from Schiphol Airport to the (Connexxion Schiphol Shuttle). The service is active from 06:00 to 21:00.
You can take a train from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station in about 19 minutes. From the station, you can take tram number 16 or 24 to the and get off at the Ruysdaelstraat stop. From here, it is just one minute's walking distance to the hotel.

The reception is open between 08:00 and 23:00. Check-in after 23.00 is possible if mentioned before.
Please note: the Hotel Washington has no lift.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
